Ann Green, Chair
Ann is the independent Chair of Jeans for Genes and had a son with a genetic disorder. She's an experienced executive director at board and senior levels in the NHS, Department of Health and the independent healthcare sector.
Ray Dias
Ray is a chartered accountant with 15 years in the profession, followed by 10 years as Group Finance Director of a UK listed company with operations in North America and Europe. Ray was a treasurer and a trustee of the PiA for more than 10 years. He's now their independent trustee for Jeans for Genes and our treasurer.
Robin Gibbs
Robin worked in finance for 10 years and was most recently an Executive Director within the Equities Division at Goldman Sachs. Since leaving the City to look after a growing family, Robin has devoted herself to fundraising for various hospitals, children's charities and Universities and serves as the independent trustee for GOSHC.
Chris Goard
Chris brings experience of marketing and management to Jeans for Genes. He has worked internationally to develop and build brands for global businesses. His charity connections include his current role as CEO of CGD Research Trust and as a trustee and treasurer of the Genetic Interest Group.
Chris Hughan
Chris has been involved in the charitable sector for nearly 20 years. He has been Chief Executive of the Primary Immunodeficiency Association (PiA) since 2005. His understanding of people with chronic illness stems from him having had Crohn’s disease since childhood.
Tim Johnson
Tim, who has more than 15 years fundraising experience in healthcare, higher education and charity sectors, started fundraising for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity in 2002. He was Director of Major Gift Fundraising before taking on the role of Executive Director in May 2008.
Christine Lavery
Christine is Chief Executive of the Society for Mucopolysaccharide Diseases. She's been working in the charity sector for more than 25 years and was awarded an MBE for her services to metabolic diseases in 2002. She has first hand experience of MPS conditions having had a son with Hunter disease.
