How to use your personalised online Gift Aid form
Thank you for organising a Jeans for Genes Day. You and your
colleagues
can add Gift Aid to your donations by filling in your details on our
very simple form, at no extra cost.
You'll then be able to see how much
you've all raised - and how much more Gift Aid has added to your total.
Gift Aid is tax relief from the government on money that's donated to
charities. It's a free service which means for every £1 you donate,
the government
gives Jeans for Genes 28p. So if you raise £10, adding Gift Aid turns
it into £12.80 and if you raise £100 it becomes £128.
You can add Gift Aid to the donations you and your colleagues make by
filling in our ready-made form.
It's easy - 3 simple steps
- Log in to your user account. The link on the first page shows
you the form everyone needs to fill in.
- Click on 'forward our draft email'. Copy and paste the message
into your email and send it to everyone who's taken part.
- To see how much you've all added to your total by allowing us to
claim Gift Aid, just click on the link on the main page of your user
account.
Your page is unique to you and where you're holding your Jeans for
Genes Day. That's why we ask you to log into your user account.
We need this information to meet the guidelines set out by HMRC.
