Gift Aid is tax relief on money that’s donated to charities.
The government set up the scheme to help charities like us maximise
their income.
For every £1 you and your colleagues donate on Jeans for Genes Day,
we will receive an extra 28p at no cost to you!

You and your colleagues won’t be signing your life away or agreeing
to anything other than allowing us to claim the tax back on that
individual donation.
For every pound you donate, HM Revenue and Customs will add 25p and
the government will then add an extra 3p so you can give an extra 28p in
total.
If every Jeans for Genes supporter claimed Gift Aid in 2010, we would have raised an extra £300,000.
If you are UK taxpayers and you made the donations out of your own
money (rather than a company account) then we can claim Gift Aid.
