It’s really easy to organise a Jeans for Genes Day at your nursery school.  The first step is to sign up for your free fundraising pack full of everything you need to plan your Jeans for Genes Day 2009.

Then simply decide on what you want to do on the Day, let all your parents know and have a great Day.  There’s a whole range of different activities you can do on the Day including arts and crafts and cake sales - check out some of our ideas below for inspiration.

We’re thrilled to have Fifi Forget-Me-Not and the Flowertots helping us to raise money again this year.  The TV favourite, from Channel 5's Milkshake and Nickelodeon, features on our brand new glow-in-the-dark badges available from our webshop.

You'll also find Fifi and the Flowertots stickers in your fundraising pack and a Fifi headband you can photocopy, colour-in, cut-out and wear on the Day.

"We try to mark Jeans for Genes Day every year because it's a good cause for children.  We also held a cake sale for the mums and dads and were delighted to raise £60." Becci Firth, manager of Chipmunks nursery in Weymouth
To get you started

Music is the theme to kick-start your fundraising ideas this year.  We've got the lyrics to Fifi's theme tune that you can print off from our Fifi page or you could play musical statues, do a sing-along or have a ‘tot-rock disco’.
